Madhouse Toolbox is the Osclass developer toolkit to create better plugins and themes. It adds an advanced php debug bar to and a friendly error handler to the bottom of every page of your Osclass website.

Inspired by famous PHP frameworks such as Symfony or Laravel, we have compiled some very useful tooling that we have been using while working on various plugins and themes for Osclass.

Screenshot were taken on Mcfly Theme.

This plugin requires PHP 5.3 or later and Osclass 3.3 or later.

Debugbar for Osclass

The debugbar included in Madhouse Toolbox will sit at the bottom of the screen and will give you an overview on some important insights when developing your next most awesome plugin for Osclass.

  • Log Messages: view log messages from plugins or themes;

  • Request inspector: inspect HTTP requests and session as well as exported variables by Osclass;

  • Monitor Performance: get some useful performance insights on memory consumption and page loading time of each page of your Osclass website;

  • Monitor SQL queries: monitor your database, number of SQL queries per page and their execution time. Combined it with the performance insights, you should get a thorough analysis;

  • Plugins: overview of which plugins is loaded and in what order;

The debugbar works with every page and every request with a browsable history of past requests or headless requests in the top right corner.

Friendly error page

Madhouse Toolbox adds a nice-looking and interactive error page to track down errors.

In just a glimpse, you’ll get a complete overview of your errors with an excerpt of the source code, an overview of the request and a stacktrace explorer. More context makes faster debugging and error-free code for your plugins and themes.

More features to come!

A better timing tab will be the next feature planned to be added with advanced profiling of code.

Our plugins have started to work with the famous PHP Monolog logging system and we’re planning to bridge the Log Messages tab with Monolog soon.

    Hi,
    I have downloaded and installed your plugin toolbox. Once installed they are no longer able to access my site.
    Any address I put in:
    http: //localhost/osclass359/index.php? Page = login,
    http: //localhost/osclass359/oc-admin/index.php? Page = appearance,
    etc.
    I can no longer access the admin. I no longer see the plugins, I do not see the themes. I want to know how can I uninstall the plugin and can not figure out how.
    I thank you in advance

    Regards

    That's a weird thing. Please send us a private message and we'll try to figure out what's goind on.

    Without access to the admin, you can manually edit the field 'active_plugins' (oc_t_preference) to remove madhouse_toolbox from the list.

    Should look like this:

    i:3;s:26:"madhouse_toolbox/index.php";

    Upgrade your PHP to 5.4 or above and you'll be fine :)
